Todays Intake

Breakfast: slice of whole wheat toast, slice of cheese,  1 egg, 1 pear, 2 strawberries, half a kiwi, a few blackberries and blueberries.

Lunch: Salad: lettuce mix, spinach leaves, almond slices, a bit of chicken breast, noodle crunchies, avocado, broccoli, and chinese salad dressing.

Snack: Juice: Kale, spinach, broccoli, celery, carrots, tomato, orange, and lemon.

Snack: Luna bar

Dinner: Burrito: organic whole wheat tortilla, black beans, cheddar cheese, avocado, diced tomato and onions.

Snack: a big fat smoothie. 2 bananas,  4 strawberries, a handful of blackberries and blueberries, and non fat milk.

I suck

at making burritos.  Over the past few weeks I have tried several times to make a burrito, and each time I tried making it a different way.  I love burritos, but I hate the ones I make.  So dinner was yucky tonight. ;(.  I knew I should have just made a peanut butter banana sandwich.

Last night

I went to a baseball game.  I was worried about eating there and you can’t bring your own food in or drinks.  My husband and I went to dinner before we went to the game because his mom invited us to go.  I had a serving of steamed salmon.  There was no guilt in that whatsoever because there is nothing bad about that.  But, we ate dinner at 5 and at the game was from 6:30 to 9:30.  It wasn’t really a hunger issue while I was there, I was just surrounded by super yummy smelling food.  Hot dogs, fries, funnel cakes, chicken strips and all that good stuff.  My husband had a soda, hot dog, fries, and a pretzel throughout the time we were there.  Everyone around me was enjoying food, many being very much overweight. So anyways my husband asked me “aren’t you going to have anything” and I was like “naw, I’m just going to have a water”.  He looked at me and was like “what? your coming to a game and your not going to eat anything?”.  So then I sat there and thought about it, like maybe I should allow myself to have just one thing.  But then I was like “wait, I don’t need to eat fattening unhealthy food, just to have fun at an outing”.  It seems like everyone  always thinks in order to have fun we have to eat a crap load of crappy food to enjoy the evening.  That is a terrible mind set. Of course I believe in allowing yourself to indulge here and there, but I’m not about to let food determine if I have a good time or not.  So, there I sat drinking my bottle of water and guess what…I still had a good time.

Snack: Homemade whole wheat banana chocolate chip muffin

Lunch:Juice: Kale, spinach, celery, carrots, tomato, orange, lemon, and strawberries

Dinner: Turkey, avocado, tomato, onion, bell pepper, and ravioli.

Snack: Small cup of chocolate frozen yogurt w/ strawberries and some coconut shreds on top

Did 45 minutes of yoga.  Now I’m sitting down on the couch finishing my green iced tea.  Then I’m going to go take a shower and get in yoga pants and a tshirt.  No makeup and I’m just going to pull my hair back in a bun out of my face.  I’m just staying at home today alone, enjoying my much needed spring break.  After my shower I’m going to make some delicious juice for lunch and relax on the couch and find something good to watch.

So heres my goal

My spring semester ends between May 12-14.  I don’t know the exact date and I don’t feel like going to look it up at the moment.  But, by then I hope to be at 118.  Right now I am 125.  That gives me about 6 weeks to lose 7 pounds, which seems doable.  That way, when I reach that goal I within that week I will go out and buy some new summer clothes because I will be a few pounds away from my goal weight.
